The three meta-tags you should be familiar with are:
- Title of the web page
- Description, also referred to as a Summary
- Keywords

Each of these is a way that search engines will weigh the value of your page. The title is the first one, so it is important that it is clear and reflects the actual content of your page. The summary or description is a brief description of the page that shows up on some search engines and is used by most as a sorting tool. Finally, the keywords are the relevant terms that describe the page.
